Luiano, Rosso Toscana ‘Lui di Luiano’, Tuscany 2012

Producer : LUIANO

The history of Luiano stretches back to 9th Century Chianti, where it was well known for its wine and olive oil production. In the late middle ages it was chosen by a noble family, allied with the Medici, to build a beautiful villa, fort and farm (which still stands today). Over the years Luiano has belonged to several of the most renown families of Florence including the Mellini Borromei and the Strozzi.
