Producer: Château Sainte Marguerite
Although its current plantings only date back to 1929, the Château’s land has been cultivated since antiquity. It was purchased in 1977 by Jean-Pierre Fayard and his wife, and has since grown to become one of Provence’s most dynamic and well respected estates. Proximity to the sea and optimum sun exposure yileds wines that are fresh and vibrant, and the wines are certified organic and vegan to boot. A blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache, this wine is powerful yet precise, with dominant notes of sour cherries.
Pairing suggestion: perfect for a barbecue, to be paired with meats, fish, or veggies straight from the grill.
