From south-east facing vineyards on slopes, this Brunello is aged for 36 months in French oak barrels before ageing in bottle for a further six months.
The beautiful ruby red colour introduces a nose that brings out an incredible progression of ripe fruity notes, leather, tobacco, variegated spices and hints of undergrowth. Everything is found in a dynamic and vibrant palate, stimulated by a pleasant acidity and a dense and elegant tannins, which extends in a savoury final. The grapes from the Loreto and Schiena d’Asino vineyards were used in the Brunello winemaking mass.
